Casper Mattress Review
Casper was one of the early adopters of the online mattress space. When they launched, they truly created a brand that millennials could connect with & mattress buying became exciting.
Construction of the Casper Mattress
Here is the construction of the Casper Mattress
- 1.5″ Top Layer – Breathable open Cell Foam. This top layer helps with air flow and relieves pressure
- 1.5″ Second Layer – High-density memory foam. This layer provides great support & is a key component of the mattress.
- 1.5″ Third Layer – Zoned Transition Foam
- 5.5″ Base Layer – Durable Support Foam
Casper Mattress Firmness/motion transfer/edge support
- Casper mattress firmness – 6 out of 10 on the firmness scale. 60%
- 1 Very Soft
- 5 Medium
- 10 Very Firm
Firmness- The Casper firmness level is around a 6, so it’s almost ideal for every sleeper. It starts a bit firm, but you do sink in the right amount.
Motion Transfer- The Casper Mattress has little motion transfer, with most memory foam motion transfer usually isn’t an issue. Toss and turn as much as you want, your partner won’t notice.
Edge Support- The Casper mattress provides great edge support, side sleepers will be pleased, its also not to firm, so if you sleep on your shoulder, your shoulder won’t go numb.
Casper Mattress Cooling/Off gassing
Cooling- The Casper Mattress remains cool throughout the night, it’s quite pleasing. Sometimes foam mattresses start very cool, but then fade away after a few minutes.
Off Gassing- There wasn’t much off gassing with the mattress, we do recommend airing any mattress out for 24 hours.
How many years will the Casper Mattress last me?
The Casper Mattress should last you 8-10 years.. If you rotate the mattress 180 degrees every 6 months you should maintain that same comfort for the next decade.
Casper Mattress Warranty/trial period
Warranty- Casper offers a 10 year warranty
Trial Period- Casper offers a 100 night trial
Shipping- Casper offers free shipping

Summary of the Casper Mattress
Overall the casper Mattress is a great mattress, it really provides the comfort and support you need. It is quite cooling as well which is really a plus in if you’re a warm sleeper. If you’re a side sleeper or a back sleeper this mattress should be a good fit. I would definitely recommend this mattress.
